Foodservice has been taking a digital turn for the past few years, which has been accelerated by the health crisis. How have the players managed to adapt to these changes? What solutions have been put in place to respond to new consumer habits?

To answer these many questions, we called on one of our partners, Dupont Restauration, with the testimony of Angelina Loletto, Marketing and Communication Manager of the group. New projects, adaptation of the offer, new tools... Find out more about their digital strategy 👇

Dupont Restorationis...

... the 5th national player in the sector of collective cateringDupont Restauration is the fifth largest national player in the contract catering sector, accompanying its customers from day care centers to retirement homes with a strong focus on sharing a convivial moment over a meal based on home-cooked, fresh, local and seasonal products. In a few figures, the Dupont Restauration group is made up of 2,500 women and men, and more than 800 restaurants.

The health crisis has reinforced our idea of developing a more commercial restaurant.

It is increasingly difficult to capture a public whose external offer (delivery platforms, commercial catering, etc.) is more and more attractive, both for the corporate and school sectors. The health crisis has reinforced our idea of developing a more commercial, less collective catering service with a simpler customer experience, particularly thanks to digital technology.

Our latest takeaway concept perfectly meets these expectations: where you want, when you want, how you want. This offer combines both the quality of a traditional restaurant(uncommon in a fast food offer) and the digital whichallows the customer to have a 100% innovative service without constraint.

Innovorder helped us to set up this new concept thanks to solutions adapted to our business sector, allowing a digital and intuitive experience for our guests.

Click & Collect was one of the first solutions we proposed.

Click & Collect was one of the first Innovorder solutions we offered to our customers. Since then, we have also offered products such as the ordering terminal (fast food type), e-loading, room service, the connected coffee machine or even the management (recharging) of the remote badge to complete the digital customer journey.

Innovorder's strengths are its responsiveness, its ability to listen and its sense of innovation. They have a real capacity to integrate into a project in order to co-propose a unique solution adapted to each prospect (they take into account the particularities of each site they equip).

The best example is the EDF framework contract project with the opening of 10 restaurants last October. Innovorder was able to support us in a mass deployment with simultaneous openings that included different expectations and constraints.

Despite the crisis, Dupont Restauration's growth has enabled it to collaborate more with Innovorder on customer projects, but also on the development of new concepts.

A big thank you to Angelina for this feedback and a big congratulations to all the Dupont Restauration teams for these innovations.
