Welcome to What the Foc, the temple of Parisian focaccia! The concept? Original and very tasty focaccia recipes.

What the Foc ?! has several activities: take-away, click & collect, delivery and catering.

To meet their needs, What the Foc?! called on Innovorder to implement several solutions: an order terminal at their point of sale, a cash register and online ordering on their website.

The history of the project: from a dark kitchen to a take-away

At the helm of this premium sandwich shop in the 17th arrondissement, there are 3 entrepreneurs: Ilan Nakam, Ilan Edelman and Nils Edelman. After a stint in business school and experience in a large group, Nils decided to train at the Ferrandi school. With his diploma in hand, he became a home chef. 

After several tests and reflections, the trio launches the concept "What the Foc?!" and opens, at first, a dark kitchen in October 2021. As they miss the contact with the customers, they quickly decide to welcome customers in take-away.

Their challenge: to process a large volume of orders efficiently in order to open new points of sale

In January 2023, the three founders appeared on the M6 show "Qui veut être mon associé? As a result, sales soared! 

Their ambition is to open new points of sale in Paris, to become a franchisee in a second phase and cover all of France. Aware that digital technology would meet their development ambitions, they decided to call on Innovorder. 

Nils confides:

"Before, we worked in a very traditional way, we wrote everything down by hand. But when you want to set up several restaurants, scalability is the key. It has to be fast to process a considerable volume. This has been our objective from the start and Innovorder is able to meet it.

An order terminal to save time for teams and customers

The kiosk located at the point of sale allows the team to free up time to serve customers, advise them, or help in the kitchen during rushes. Today, it centralizes 30% of the volume of orders.
