Five days, more than 4,300 exhibitors and brands, fifteen sectors spread across nearly 150,000 m²: without proper preparation, a restaurant owner leaves Sirha Lyon with a bag full of brochures and few useful appointments. With a plan laid out in advance, he can compare solutions in a single day that would otherwise take him weeks to explore one by one.

This guide compiles official information about the 2027 edition (dates, access, ticketing, map, contests) and explains how to turn your visit into concrete decisions for your institution.

Key Facts: Sirha Lyon 2027, the 23rd edition of the trade show, will take place from Thursday, January 21, through Monday, January 25, 2027, at Eurexpo Lyon (Chassieu), from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. It is open exclusively to professionals in the restaurant, hospitality, and food service industries. Organized every two years by GL events and Sirha Food, it attracted more than 257,000 professionals in 2025.

The trade show will be open to visitors from Thursday, January 21, through Monday, January 25, 2027, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., at Eurexpo Lyon. Here’s what you need to know to plan your visit.

Getting to Eurexpo: Train, Tram, Car

The organizers recommend using public transportation to get to the trade show more quickly. From Paris, the TGV stops at Lyon Part-Dieu Station and Lyon Saint-Exupéry Station (airport).

  • From Part-Dieu Station: Take the T3 tram to Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie, then the N186 “Direct Eurexpo” bus (major-event shuttle, every 3 minutes).
  • From the airport and the Saint-Exupéry train station: Take the Rhônexpress to Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie, then take bus N186.
  • From Perrache Station: Take the T2 tram to Grange-Blanche, then the T5 tram to Eurexpo.
  • From downtown Lyon: Take Metro Line D to Grange-Blanche, then take Tram Line T5.

For those arriving by car, Eurexpo has approximately 13,000 parking spaces. A park-and-ride facility at Groupama Stadium (€15 per vehicle, with a shuttle running every 8 to 10 minutes in both directions) helps you avoid traffic jams during rush hour.

Ticketing: passes, professional badges, and invitations

Tickets are available online at pass.sirha-lyon.com. Three paid passes are available, with discounted rates through November 1, 2026.

  • Visitor Pass: €120 (including tax): 5-day admission.
  • VIP Pass: €225 (including tax): 5-day admission, welcome kit, parking pass, access to the festival village, backstage lounge, €100 credit toward a colleague’s badge, 20% off at the Sirha Food store, Sirha Lyon white paper
  • Business Pass: €680 (including tax): VIP pass benefits, plus a guided tour, access to the Business Lounge, a time slot at the Tasting Room, and the Omnivore Speakeasy after-work event.

The competition lounges and the two evening events at the show (the World Pastry Cup on Saturday, January 23, and the Bocuse d'Or closing ceremony on Monday, January 25, at La Sucrière) are not included in any pass; they have their own ticketing system. A food service professional may also apply for a badge, subject to approval by the organizer.

Last option: Exhibitors have invitations to distribute to their customers and prospects.

A trade show reorganized by restaurant industry sectors in 2027

Sirha Lyon 2027 now groups its exhibitors by industry: restaurants, hotels, bars, coffee shops, and design. The organizers are presenting this edition as the first structural overhaul of the trade show in 20 years, with 95% of the booths redesigned.

The trade show has gained 7,000 m² thanks to the expansion of Hall 4, bringing its total area to nearly 150,000 m². As of early October 2026, more than 4,300 exhibitors and brands had been confirmed, including 650 first-time participants.

The 15 exhibition sectors and their halls

The official plan consists of fifteen sectors. Grouping them by category helps create a coherent path.

  • Products: Food, Gourmet (Gallery 6), Meat, Bakery/Pastry, Marketplace.
  • Beverages (Hall 6): Beverages, Wines & Spirits.
  • Facilities and Venue: Kitchen equipment (at the Pizza World stage, Hall 2.2), Hospitality Factory (Hall 7), eco-friendly tableware and packaging.
  • Services and Technologies: Digital Solutions (spread across several halls), Services, Sirha Start-up, Transportation.
  • International: Regional and international pavilions.

Good to know: Vendors of cash registers, ordering kiosks, and online ordering systems are not all located in a single hall. Be sure to note their booth numbers before you arrive.

The Four New Themes of the 2027 Edition

  • Hospitality Factory (Hall 7): tableware, design, and hospitality space design. In 2025, this section attracted 47,580 industry professionals, including 19,170 executives and decision-makers.
  • Pizza World (Hall 2.2): a space of approximately 1,100 m² dedicated to pizza and pasta (cooking equipment, ingredients, packaging, solutions), featuring a stage for competitions and demonstrations.
  • Beverages (Hall 6): coffee and a bar, non-alcoholic and low-alcohol beverages, wines, and spirits, all located in half a hall.
  • Gourmet (Gallery 6): premium products and gourmet foods for the foodservice industry.

Performances and Contests: The Day-by-Day Schedule

The program features 8 stages, more than 200 presentations, and 28 competitions. Three of the stages are new: Sirha Pitch (start-ups), Sirha Lifestyle, and Sirha Pizza World. The Sirha Food Forum remains the main stage.

  • Thursday, January 21: International Catering Cup (20th anniversary of the competition, 12 teams).
  • January 21–23: French Bakery Cup, Bake Stage, Hall 3.2.
  • January 22 and 23: World Pastry Cup (20 countries, 60 contestants; honorary president: Cyril Lignac Group).
  • January 24 and 25: Bocuse d'Or Grand Final (40th anniversary of the competition, 24 teams; honorary president: Daniel Boulud).

The Sirha Innovation Awards also recognize 12 innovations from exhibitors, divided into four categories (Food, Beverage, Equipment & Performance, Hospitality & Services).

What a Restaurant Owner Can Expect from Five Days at Sirha

In 2025, 80% of visitors surveyed identified new suppliers or partners at the trade show, and 70% planned to enter into a partnership within six months. These figures are from the organizer’s satisfaction survey (more than 5,400 responses, average rating of 4.3 out of 5).

A look back at the 2025 edition:

  • more than 257,000 professionals in attendance (+25% compared to 2023);
  • 2,300 exhibitors and 4,700 brands;
  • 56% of visitors were decision-makers and buyers;
  • 15% international visitors;
  • 9,683 business meetings held over five days;
  • 800 innovations and new products were showcased.

For a foodservice manager, the main benefit is comparative: in both fast food and institutional foodservice, order-taking, payment processing, and management solutions can be tested side by side in a demonstration setting within a few hours.

The trade show also sheds light on shifts in consumer demand. An OpinionWay survey conducted for Sirha Food shows that 55% of French people frequent snack bars, cafés, or fast-food restaurants, and that 29% are willing to pay more for the experience and atmosphere. More fragmented meals mean more peaks in demand to handle in a short period of time and a customer journey that has a greater impact on the total bill: two factors to keep in mind as you walk through the aisles.

Plan Your Visit: From Fast Food to Company Cafeterias

A successful visit to Sirha depends on the three weeks leading up to the trade show. With fifteen sectors and exhibitors spread across several halls, winging it means spending hours walking around for very few useful contacts.

Set Your Goals Based on Your School

Start by writing down the two or three problems you want to solve this year. They will vary depending on your segment.

  • In the commercial foodservice industry (fast food, franchises, bakeries, food courts, leisure venues): handle peak periods without lengthening the line, increase the average check, and standardize tools across multiple locations.
  • In institutional food service (corporate, healthcare, education, government): streamline the checkout process at the cafeteria exit, simplify the process of reloading diners' ID cards, and reduce the workload on staff during service.

Each objective becomes a specific question to ask exhibitors and a criterion for ranking the solutions reviewed.

Locate the booths and schedule your appointments in advance

The list of exhibitors is posted on the trade show's website. Make a note of the hall and booth number for each supplier you plan to meet, then group your visits by hall to minimize back-and-forth trips.

Next, download the Sirha Connect app and complete your profile. Exhibitors use the app to scan visitors’ badges: a completed profile allows you to receive materials from the booths you visit and reconnect with your contacts after the show. The app can also be used to schedule appointments before you arrive.

In 2025, the aisles were very crowded right from the opening, and the last two days—the Bocuse d'Or finals—drew a particularly large crowd: no matter which day you choose, be sure to schedule your important appointments before you arrive.

Finally, set aside time for your most important activities early in the day and leave some time open: some discoveries happen by chance as you wander the aisles.

Questions to Ask Cash Register and Order Terminal Manufacturers

A demonstration at a booth shows a product under ideal conditions. These questions will help you assess how it will perform in your establishment on a busy day.

  1. Is the cash register NF525-certified, as required by French regulations?
  2. Do the cash register, the ordering kiosk, the online ordering system, and the production screen share the same catalog and back-office system, or do they need to be synchronized?
  3. What integrations are available with your current tools (payment terminal, delivery platforms, accounting software)?
  4. How long does it take to set up a retail location, and how does the rollout work across multiple locations?
  5. Who provides support after installation, during what hours, and with what level of expertise?
  6. What is included in the total cost: hardware, licenses, updates, and support?
  7. Which institutions similar to yours are already using this solution, and can you contact one of them?
